Zaka Ashraf Responds to Imad Wasim’s Retirement
Zaka Ashraf, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee, responded to Imad Wasim’s retirement. He appreciated Wasim’s contributions to Pakistan and mentioned that he’ll be missed.
Zaka Ashraf mentioned that Imad Wasim’s performance in white ball cricket played a crucial role in the team’s success. While I respect his decision, I want to express gratitude on behalf of the PCB Management Committee for his service to Pakistan. Best wishes for a bright future.

Imad Wasim made his international cricket debut in 2015. The 34-year-old cricketer has represented Pakistan in 55 ODIs and 66 T20 matches, achieving 109 wickets and scoring 1472 runs in international cricket. He was part of the team that won the 2017 Champions Trophy and played in the 2016 T20 World Cup, 2019 50 Over World Cup, and 2021 T20 World Cup.
