LAHORE – The extensively renowned video-sharing website, YouTube, has introduced the debut of YouTube Premium and YouTube Music in Pakistan to offer novel encounters to viewers in Pakistan.
Farhan Qureshi, a spokesperson from Google responsible for the South Asian sector, made the announcement on LinkedIn.
YouTube Premium Now Available in Pakistan
He emphasized that in Pakistan, more than 400 channels possess in excess of one million subscribers, signifying a rise of more than 35%, year after year. Meanwhile, over 6,000 channels boast over 100K subscribers, denoting a surge of more than 30%, year after year. These figures are undeniably impressive.
“I eagerly anticipate YouTube becoming a component of this rapidly expanding ecosystem and maintaining our collaboration with the creative industry of Pakistan. We aim to further aid Pakistani creators in expanding their viewership through YouTube Premium and YouTube Music,” he expressed.
Membership Plans
YouTube Premium can be obtained starting at Rs 479 every month, encompassing access to YouTube Music Premium. This subscription provides an ad-free encounter, along with background play and offline downloads for numerous YouTube videos.
Audiences also have the option to enroll in the Premium Family Plan, starting at Rs899, enabling them to distribute their Premium subscription with up to 5 other household members.

For YouTube Music Premium, the pricing begins at Rs 299 and provides ad-free music, background playback, and the ability to download content from YouTube Music. The Music Premium Family Plan starts at Rs 479.
Users who meet the criteria can receive a special introductory promotion of 1 month of complimentary access to either YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium.
