YouTube announced a new feature on its short video platform Shorts called Dream Screen, which allows users to create unique and interesting videos using AI tools.
YouTube CEO Neil Mohan revealed during the “Made on YouTube” live event that users can now generate YouTube Shorts videos by typing in the scene with AI tools.

Mohan demonstrated how it worked by typing in “panda drinking coffee” to show how the video image appeared on the screen. The company explained with even more examples.
Mohan expressed his belief that the technology will benefit a lot of people by enabling people to publish on YouTube without feeling like they need a full understanding of production studios or the YouTube experience.

According to YouTube, shorts currently average over 70 billion unique views on the platform. Which is more than 50 billion in January and it is said that the number will increase further by using AI.
Mohan said that they all feel that creating for YouTube is easy and that they can create what is possible with AI. For now, the feature is being rolled out to a small group of artists and will go live early next year.
According to YouTube, this tool will benefit a lot of people and will allow unique videos to be watched, besides allowing new ideas to be entered by altering or remixing your content to create unique videos.
