World Cup Squad Consultation Concludes
The consultation to announce the Pakistan Cricket Team squad for this year’s One Day Cricket World Cup in India has been completed.
According to sources, captain Babar Azam and the selection committee have completed preliminary consultations, in which alternative names were considered for players facing fitness issues.
Sources say that there is a possibility of not making many changes in the Asia Cup squad while the name of spinner Abrar Ahmed is also being considered.
According to the sources, the head of the selection committee, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam will meet Zaka Ashraf tomorrow. Zaka Ashraf also plans to consult former captains and cricketers regarding the World Cup squad.

Naseem Shah suffered a shoulder injury in the match against India during the Asia Cup, after which he did not even play the important match of the Super Four stage against Sri Lanka.
The captain of the national team Babar Azam also made a statement that it is hoped that Naseem Shah will be fully fit by the World Cup.
