In its latest advisory, the Met Office has forecasted the possibility of rain accompanied by wind and thundershowers in Lahore, Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Sargodha, Mianwali, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Khushab, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Faisalabad.
The advisory also mentioned the potential for substantial precipitation in isolated areas within the Potohar region, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Gujranwala, and Gujrat during this period.
Monday saw Lahore’s temperature forecasted to range between 37-39C with a mix of sun and clouds in the city.
A notably high Max UV Index, measuring 10, was registered. Wind speed reached 18km/h, accompanied by a visibility of 5km.

According to the latest advisory from the Met Office, substantial precipitation ranging from moderate to heavy may lead to urban flooding in the lower-lying parts of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and Lahore between the 23rd and 26th of August.
Additionally, these conditions could induce landslides in susceptible areas such as Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, and the mountainous regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during this rainy spell.
The advisory further indicates that rain or wind-thundershowers, accompanied by some instances of moderate to heavy downpours, are anticipated in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, and Sheikhupura from August 23 to August 27.
