In a commendable initiative aimed at promoting unity and inclusivity among Muslims worldwide, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced the live broadcast of the Arafa sermon in twenty different languages, including Urdu.
This initiative is a significant aspect of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ project for simultaneous translation of sermons. It enables individuals from various cultures and linguistic backgrounds to engage with and understand the sermon delivered on the auspicious Day of Arafah.
The eagerly awaited sermon, to be delivered by His Excellency Sheikh Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed, will be held at the Nimra Mosque in Arafah on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1444 AH. The broadcast of the sermon will commence at 2:30 PM PST.
Muslims from all over the world have assembled in Arafah on this sacred day to offer prayers and seek proximity to Allah, transcending cultural and linguistic barriers.

The announcement unveiled that the General Presidency will broadcast the translated sermon through Manarat Al-Haramain, a dedicated digital platform designed to deliver electronic services to the public.

By making the sermon available in multiple languages, the General Presidency seeks to foster intercultural understanding, enhance the bonds of brotherhood, and provide a chance for Muslims worldwide to connect on this sacred occasion.
