The Emirates Arab United (EAU), a nearby supporter of Pakistan, has recently acknowledged Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir as components of India in a G20 Summit presentation.

The presentation, exhibited at the G20 Summit convened in New Delhi, was also posted by EAU’s Deputy Prime Minister, Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on X, previously known as Twitter.

The footage acknowledged Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, regions that fall under Pakistan’s administrative authority, as integral parts of the Indian map.
The footage was meant to showcase local strategies for linking India with the Middle East and Europe via economic corridor initiatives. Nonetheless, it also revealed UAE’s diplomatic stance on Pakistan’s position regarding the Kashmir matter.
By displaying these areas within India’s boundaries, UAE essentially affirmed India’s assertion over the region.
While the video’s debut suggests a deepening alliance between India and UAE, it also highlights the growing gap between Pakistan and the Middle East, encompassing UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s Premier and Crown Prince, Mohammad Bin Salman, scrapped his official trip to Pakistan prior to participating in the G20 summit in India, conveying a potent message to Pakistan’s influential circles.
Conversely, India, the Middle East, and Europe have united to endorse an accord led by the US, establishing the groundwork for their fresh economic route.
This path is anticipated to amplify trade and connectivity throughout Asia, the Arabian Gulf, and Europe.
It is important to mention that Pakistan anticipates a $50 billion infusion of funds from Saudi Arabia and the UAE over the next five years, with each nation contributing $25 billion.

The response of Pakistan to this unfolding situation in the coming days will be of great interest, especially in light of the official statement it has issued regarding the matter, refraining from explicitly mentioning the UAE.
Pakistan Foreign Office’s Statement
On September 14th, in the midst of their regular press conference, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, released a statement regarding India’s incorporation of the entire Kashmir region.
Without explicitly mentioning India, the announcement conveyed, “Pakistan regards the United Nations as the utmost inclusive and comprehensive assembly of nation-states,” and further stated, “Any depiction of the complete Jammu and Kashmir territory as belonging to India is legally justifiable and factually inaccurate.”

While the representative protested the inaccurate chart offered by the UAE, she recognized that the connectivity initiatives are crucial for regional harmony and success.
Kashmir Issue
As per the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations website, the Kashmir disagreement is a protracted conflict between India and Pakistan concerning the status of the region of Jammu and Kashmir.
Here is Pakistan’s authorized political chart, illustrating all territories that constitute the nation.
India took control of the region through a disputed instrument of accession endorsed by the Maharaja of Kashmir in 1947, however, Pakistan and the populace of Kashmir repudiated this assertion.
The United Nations (UN) acknowledges Kashmir as a contested territory, and every nation except India holds the same view.
