Turkish Vice President Arrives in Pakistan-Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz arrived in Pakistan for an official visit, during which he will join Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to inaugurate the fourth MILGEM Class Corvette, named PNS Tariq, at Karachi Shipyard.
Both Islamabad and Turkey initiated the MILGEM project to build four Corvettes for their respective Navies. The South Asian nation signed a $1.5 billion agreement with Ankara five years ago, engaging the Turkish state-owned defense firm ASFAT for the procurement of the four ships.

Turkish Vice President Arrives in Pakistan-Previously, two Corvettes, PNS Babur and PNS Badar, were inaugurated in Karachi and Istanbul in August 2021 and 2022.
