In Karachi, a fire erupted in a shopping center on Rashid Minhas Road, resulting in the confirmed death of 11 individuals.
Jinnah Hospital officials reported that 9 of the deceased were taken to Jinnah Hospital, while one each were transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and another to a civil hospital.
The deputy director of the accident department at Jinnah Hospital mentioned that all the casualties and injured individuals were men, ranging in age from 22 to 43 years.
Tragic Fire at Karachi Mall Claims 11 Lives
Fire brigade officials stated that the fire started at 6 am, spreading from the sixth floor to the fourth floor of the building. This led to the burning of numerous shops, and electricity was cut off in the multi-story mall and adjacent buildings.

Rescue teams report that 42 individuals have been saved from the building. Unfortunately, eleven people lost their lives due to lack of air, and eight others are in the hospital, unconscious. Additional reports suggest more details.
Fire department officials mention that 12 vehicles, 2 snorkels, and about 50 firefighters worked to put out the fire.
Officials explain that the thick smoke inside the building made it challenging to control the fire. Besides the fire department, other rescue teams are also involved in the operation. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
