Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched the Traffic Response Unit in Lahore. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inspected the traffic response unit bikes and inquired about the training and other matters from the traffic wardens.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also observed the message through public address in case of traffic jams. After the launch of the traffic response unit, a special meeting on traffic management was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in which the implementation of the Lahore Intelligence Traffic Signal Management System was reviewed.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif set a deadline to improve the flow of traffic in Lahore. In the meeting, it was decided to remove the carriages obstructing the flow of traffic. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed to provide an alternative place for the carriages.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed to ensure lane line discipline in all cases, and conduct an awareness campaign of lane restrictions for rickshaws and motorbikes.

CTO Amara Athar said in the briefing that the special traffic response unit will reach the traffic jam area on 15 calls. A special unit of 50 heavy bikes and 100 wardens will take immediate action to clear the traffic.
The traffic response unit has also been given special training for one month and a first aid course from Red Crescent. A public address system and first aid box will also be installed on each motorbike.

The traffic warden will also record through a special camera. Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Information Minister Uzma Zahid Bukhari, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, IG Dr. Usman Anwar, Commissioner Zaid Bin Maqsood, Deputy Commissioner Rafia Haider, CCPO Bilal. Kamiana, Tipa, Safe City, and other relevant authorities were also present.
