Bobi, the planet’s most elderly surviving canine, passed away at 31.
The World’s Longest-living Dog has passed away
As per international reports, a Portuguese dog named Bobi was crowned the world’s oldest canine.
Bobi departed at a veterinary clinic on Monday at 31 years and 165 days old, as confirmed by his owner, Lionel Costa.
As per reports from the media, Bobi’s lineage belongs to a common canine breed that typically enjoys a lifespan of 10 to 14 years. However, Bobi was the fortunate canine who reached the age of 31.

Moreover, Bobi also clinched the global record for the lengthiest living canine in February of this year. The former record was held by an Australian dog who passed away at 29 years and 5 months.
Guinness World Records also mourned Bobi’s passing and conveyed their sorrow on X.
