Sutlej Flooding Chaos: Pakistan Army Intensifies Rescue and Relief Efforts
KASUR – The Pakistan military continues its efforts for rescue and relief operations in flood-affected regions of Punjab as the deluge causes destruction in Kasur and Okara.
An all-time high flood has engulfed an extensive area, causing destruction to homes, displacing local inhabitants along with their possessions and animals. Additionally, certain areas have become unreachable.
Amidst this dire situation, the Pakistan Army is taking charge of relief and rescue activities in the impacted regions. Armed forces personnel are diligently engaged in providing relief and conducting rescues in the affected zones, persistently relocating masses to secure locations.

Furthermore, the military is supplying food and medications to individuals impacted by the flooding. Reports from the media indicate that armed forces units are stationed in Pakpattan, Minchanabad, Bahawalnagar, Chishtian, Mailsi, and Arifwala.
Residents in Gandha Singh, Dhup Sarri, Ghatti Kalangar, Aulake, Jumma wala, Kamalpura, Shajra, Mahiwal, Atari, Najabat, and Thathi Bukhshi areas of the district are also receiving rations.
Meanwhile, a no-cost medical camp has been established in Thathi Bukhshi to assist those affected by the flood.
