The Chief Guest for the event will be the Prime Minister, with various notable individuals present such as past hockey players, enhancing the eagerly anticipated occasion.

Addressing the press, Lahore’s Commissioner, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, expressed that an extensive security plan would be implemented during the inauguration.

In prior months, Wahab Riaz, the Interim Provincial Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs in Punjab, unveiled the commencement of the new synthetic turf setup.

Wahab mentioned that installing the new turf, valued at a substantial cost of Rs. 16 crore, stands as an essential initial move in establishing global benchmarks for the sport in Pakistan.
