According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of the district on Friday, gathering of more than five people will be prohibited in Pishin and Section 144 will also be imposed on the closure of important highways.
“The Home and Tribal Affairs Department of the Government of Balochistan, using the powers under sub-section (6) of Section 144 Cr.P.C 1898, has banned the blockade of national/central highways, roads, red zones including processions, rallies. and assembly/ sit-in of five (05) or more persons throughout the province of Balochistan immediately until further orders,” the notification read.
These instructions were issued on the orders of the Interior and Tribal Affairs Department of the provincial government.
The district also received heavy rain due to which rain water has accumulated inside the ground where the opposition is going to hold its inaugural rally.
However, steps are being taken to drain the water before the rally.
Meanwhile, the six-party opposition alliance today (Saturday) has named its protest campaign “Tehreek Tahafs Ain (Tehreek Tahafs Ain)” in a bid to launch a formal movement against the government.
The six-party alliance consists of PTI, Sunni Alliance Council (SIC), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP), Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) and Pashtun Khawa Milli Awami Party (P). KMAP) are included.

In the meeting of the parties in Quetta on Friday night, the strategy of starting the protest movement and in today’s meeting it was decided to appoint Mehmood Khan Achakzai of PkMAP as the president of the movement.

Talking to the media, Umar Ayub said that a historic meeting of the opposition alliance was held today.
He said that the name of the opposition movement is “Tahfuz Tahfuz Tehreek” and its president Achakzai is forming a coordination committee for the movement.
