Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has been the subject of several leaks, and the most recent one offers a live preview of the device when folded. The phone is observed within a protective case, which is typically seen on pre-release devices. This leak confirms the presence of the larger outer screen that has been showcased in previous leaks.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a cover screen in the shape of a folder, occupying a significant portion of the top half of the device. Previous rumors suggest that this display measures 3.4 inches and utilizes AMOLED technology with a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels.
Samsung plans to utilize the larger screen by enabling Google-optimized applications such as Google Maps and YouTube for convenient usage.
In addition to the spacious cover screen, the Z Flip 5 features a dual-camera setup that includes the well-known 12MP wide and ultrawide sensors found in the Z Flip 4. An LED flash is positioned adjacent to the cameras.
The device also includes clearly visible volume and power buttons. There is speculation that the power button may serve a dual purpose by functioning as a fingerprint scanner as well.
The flip foldable is anticipated to be powered by current flagship hardware, specifically the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, details regarding memory configurations remain mostly unknown at this time. The device is expected to be equipped with a 3,700 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
The main display is rumored to be a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a redesigned hinge that contributes to a less noticeable crease compared to previous models.
