Xiaomi is hinting at the premium model series starting with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. This model will showcase a remarkable 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor, boasting a generous 1/1.4-inch sensor size.
This 200-megapixel camera is positioned as the quickest in the field. The Redmi Note 13 Pro (excluding the Plus variant) might also feature the identical 200-megapixel sensor for its primary camera.
Lu Weibeing, the General Manager of Redmi, emphasized that this lineup will once more challenge the limits of imaging capabilities in affordable smartphones, marking a noteworthy leap forward in image quality benchmarks for the mobile phone sector.
Dimensity 7200U
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is set to be the pioneer in featuring MediaTek’s cutting-edge Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, which is built on TSMC’s advanced 4nm process.
This advancement will enable the phone to harness the full potential of its impressive 200MP camera.
As per the information available, the D7200U showcases an octa-core CPU design. This setup comprises 2 x Cortex-A715 cores running at a clock speed of 2.8 GHz, along with 6 x Cortex-A510 cores.
Additionally, it integrates the Arm Mali-G610 GPU and the power-efficient AI processor APU 650.
Xiaomi has not officially announced a release date for the Redmi Note 13 series as of now, but the ongoing teaser promotion is expected to unveil it in due course.
