In a recent development, the Special Anti-Terrorism Court granted a 4-day physical remand for the five individuals accused of being associated with the “RAW” agency.
RAW Agents Handed Over to Police on Physical Remand
Presiding over the trial, Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain considered the request for remand of the accused – Mueez Ahmed, Mehran Younis, Faizan Kayani, Arslan Wajid, and Noman Sattar – who were apprehended by the police on charges of receiving funding from the Indian secret agency RAW. The request was duly approved by the court.
Judge Abu Al-Hasanat Muhammad Zul-Qarnain spoke to the accused and inquired, “What is troubling you?” Insistently entering and exiting like this during detention cannot persist.
Do you not hold affection for this nation? This land has provided for you. The accused responded, expressing their love for our homeland. In response, the court’s judge pointed out that the actions taken come at a cost to our nation.

The accused explained that they had devoted themselves to the country, but were apprehended for accepting funds in the name of the mosque. Judge Abu Al-Hasanat Muhammad Zul-Qarnain noted that a substantial sum had been involved, advising that they must recognize the accountability in this world and the hereafter.
