The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast predicting rainfall across the country starting from 13 June. Notably, Cyclone Baparjoy is anticipated to make landfall along the coast of Pakistan on the same day.
Rainy Weather Forecast for 13 June
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of rainfall in Islamabad, Murree, Rawalpindi, and Attock on June 13-14. Additionally, Chakwal and Sialkot may experience thunderstorms accompanied by rain.
Furthermore, the districts of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Haripur, Charsadda, Swabi, Peshawar, and Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to receive rainfall.

It is advisable for residents in these areas to stay updated with weather reports and take necessary precautions.
The districts of Thatta, Badin, and Tharparkar in Sindh Province are at risk of facing a potential cyclone and are likely to experience rainfall from June 13 to 17. Similarly, Mirpurkhas and Umarkot are also predicted to receive rain during the same period.
From June 14 to 16, Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sanghar are expected to encounter rain accompanied by strong winds. Moreover, there is a possibility of rain in Sukkur, Larkana, Zhob, Barkhan, Kalat, Khuzdar, and Naseerabad districts of Balochistan province from June 14 to 16.
Rainfall is anticipated in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, and Swat from June 15 to 18.
Residents in these areas are advised to stay updated with weather reports and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
The Meteorological Department has alerted about the possibility of heavy rainfall and hailstorms in certain areas. As per their report, the cyclone is currently positioned 600 km south of Karachi and 580 km south of Thatta.

It is projected that the cyclone will continue to progress northward by the morning of June 14. In light of this, the Meteorological Department has issued instructions to fishermen, advising them not to venture into the open sea until June 17.
