Rain at the Pakistan vs New Zealand Chinnaswamy Stadium
The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted showers in Bengaluru post 2 pm.
In order to safeguard the game from rain, the “sub-air system” set up at the Channaswamy Stadium will prevent any pooling of water on the field.
As per the Chinnaswamy Stadium personnel, the sub-air system will initiate automatically once the rain commences, and the field will be rendered playable within 15 to 20 minutes following the cessation of rain.

As per the personnel, the expulsion of water from the sub-air system occurs 36 times more swiftly than natural drainage; the conduits integrated into the system have the capacity to extract 10 thousand liters of water in a single minute.
It’s worth mentioning that the sub-air system was set up in Bengaluru’s Channaswamy Stadium in 2016.
