Karachi Weather Forecast – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted substantial rainfall for various regions of the nation, including the provincial metropolis Lahore, over the following few days.
According to the latest weather alert issued by the Met Office, monsoon incursions originating from the Bay of Bengal have entered certain areas of Pakistan. Showers accompanied by thunderstorms are expected to pummel multiple regions until July 17, taking advantage of the pleasant weather.

Rain Alert
Due to the prevailing weather conditions, there are forecasts of rain, wind, and thundershowers in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
Moreover, Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman additionally cautioned about urban flooding in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Gujranwala, and Lahore subsequent to substantial rainfall. Sherry stated that powerful gusts, thunderstorms, and substantial precipitation could result in harm to deteriorated infrastructure, emphasizing the necessity for precaution.

She requested the relevant divisions to stay vigilant, particularly in Sindh, as there are anticipated ongoing showers in Karachi and other areas starting from July 21 and 22 within a fresh sequence of monsoon.
The present rainy period marked the second monsoon episode of the year, following the previous spell that resulted in substantial rainfall in Lahore, various regions, and numerous fatalities due to rain-related incidents.
