To promote education in Punjab schools, the Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU) of the School Education Department (SED) Punjab organized a function for computer tablet Distribution on Friday under the auspices of the Transformation in Access Learning Equity and Education Management (TALEEM).

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) supported the event, attended by Caretaker Provincial Education Minister Mansoor Qadir, Secretary of SED M. Ahsan Waheed, PD PMIU M. Farooq Rasheed, Dr. Hoa Tran Ringrose, and Senior Communications Specialist Chantal Rigaud.
During the event, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of District Education Authorities (DEAs) were attended by Dr Hua Tran Rangros (Mansoor Qadir and Head of GPE Country Team) in the distribution of tablets.
The main objective of this initiative is to introduce the latest tablets in primary schools across Punjab. This is to facilitate continuing professional development (CPD) for teachers.

These tablets will provide online access to a diverse range of teaching and learning materials, benefiting both students and teachers.
The distribution of tablets to schools across Punjab is a historic milestone, which will have a transformative effect on the education system in the region.
