The cost of electricity in the country has been increased by 4 rupees 56 paise per unit.

The National Electric and Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification regarding the cost of electricity.
According to the statement, electricity has been increased due to the December fuel price adjustment, the electricity consumers will have an additional burden of 39 billion 80 crore rupees.
The Nepra statement said that electricity consumers will have to make additional payments in their February bills, but the increase in electricity prices will not be applicable to K Electric and Lifeline consumers.

It should be remembered that in the November monthly fuel price adjustment, electricity was increased by 4 rupees 13 paise per unit.
