On Monday morning, a huge fire broke out in Peshawar Mobile Market in Sadar, which gutted around 200 shops.
The fire started in the basement shops of the Time Center due to a short circuit and quickly spread throughout the plaza due to exploding mobile batteries.

The rescue team said the fire, which started on the fourth floor, quickly spread to other levels, causing panic among customers and shopkeepers.
Comprised of 200 counters dedicated to batteries, mobile shops, batteries, and repair services, the Time Center became a hub for emergencies.

The district administration has started an investigation into the incident, promising help and relief to the affected parties. Adjacent houses were quickly evacuated to avoid further loss of life.
Bilal Ahmad Faizi (Relief Operations Spokesman) confirmed that there were no reports of casualties.
The situation is being closely monitored, and updates will follow as the firefighting operation progresses.
