Pakistan team fined for low over rate
As per ICC regulations, the Pakistani cricket team had bowled two overs below the designated time, resulting in the players of the Pakistani squad being fined 10% of their match fee.
The ICC has confirmed that Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, acknowledged the error and willingly accepted the imposed penalty.

It is important to mention that earlier in the game against South Africa in the World Cup, the Pakistan squad was also penalized for a slow over rate. During the South Africa match, a 20% fine of the match fee was levied on the Pakistani players, and this was acknowledged by the team’s captain, Babar Azam.
