OGRA Raises LPG by Rs 21/Kg for October
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the cost of native liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs. 20.84 per kilogram, elevating the cost of 11.8-kilogram household cylinder by Rs. 246 or roughly 8.6 percent for October.
In a notice, the authority established the cost of LPG at Rs. 261 per kilogram for October, as opposed to Rs. 240 in September. The 11.8-kilogram household cylinder cost was fixed at Rs. 3,079 in October, compared to Rs. 2,833 in September.
According to OGRA’s computation, the manufacturer cost of LPG (with 40 percent propane and 60 percent butane) has been established at Rs. 181,506 per metric ton for October.
By including Rs. 4,669 per metric ton of petroleum levy and 18 percent sales tax amounting to Rs. 33,511 per metric ton for October, the highest manufacturer cost was determined to be Rs. 219,686 per metric ton for October.
Consequently, the maximum manufacturer cost for the 11.8 kg domestic cylinder was computed to be Rs. 2,592 per kilogram for this current month.
