The Muslim League (N) requested the Election Commission to amend the election schedule apart from the polling date.
N League Urges Election Schedule
Former finance minister and (N) League senior leader Ishaq Dar has sent a letter to the Election Commission for an extension of 2 days in the date of submission of nomination papers.
The post states that the Election Commission can modify the schedule without changing the polling date, only 3 days have been given for submission of nomination papers and 7 days have been allocated for scrutiny of nomination papers, various documents along with nomination papers. should also be submitted.
The letter further said that NOCs from various government departments have to be attached along with the nomination papers, time is required to complete the documents as the papers are rejected if the documents are not completed.

In the letter, it has been appealed that for the convenience of the candidates, the Election Commission should extend the date of submission of nomination papers by 2 days and the Election Commission should amend the election schedule without changing the polling date of February 8.
