A day of mourning is being celebrated today in various countries including Pakistan for the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and his colleagues in a helicopter accident.
Mourning in Pakistan and India for the Iranian President’s Funeral Today:
Tehran confirmed on Monday that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian, and other aides were killed in a helicopter crash in a mountainous region of East Azerbaijan province on Sunday.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on this occasion expressed condolences on behalf of the people of Pakistan on the death of the Iranian President. Along with this, he has also announced to celebrate mourning day across the country today.

Shahbaz Sharif said that today the national flag will fly over government buildings nationwide. In this hour of difficulty, the nation of Pakistan stands with Iran.
India also declared national mourning on Tuesday to show solidarity with the Iranian government and people after the death of Iranian President Raisi.

The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs said that ‘as a mark of respect for the deceased, the government has decided that a day of official mourning will be celebrated. Ga, there will be no official work on this day.
On the other hand, the governments of Syria and Lebanon have also announced a three-day mourning for the death of the Iranian president. Iraq has also announced a one-day mourning to show solidarity with the Iranian government.

It should be noted that a 5-day mourning has been announced in Iran after the death of high-ranking people in a helicopter accident. The funeral prayers of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian, and others will be performed in Tabriz today.
