Meta’s New App “Threads”
Meta Platforms, previously identified as Facebook, intends to unveil Threads, an upcoming application designed to rival Twitter. The choice to introduce Threads follows closely after Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, received backlash for imposing restrictions on the quantity of posts users can peruse on the platform. This fresh application, scheduled for release on Thursday, will enable users to retain their Instagram followers and employ identical usernames.

Meta Platforms is venturing into the microblogging market to rival Twitter’s supremacy, despite the controversies encircling the platform following Musk’s $44 billion acquisition in 2022.
