The National Disaster Management (NDMA) has issued a warning of another spell of heavy rains in the country as the cold weather has intensified in Karachi.
March Weather Echoes January
According to NDMA, various cities of the country are likely to be affected by this spell from March 5 to 7 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and upper areas of Punjab.
Wind and hail are also expected in upper and central Punjab under the spell.
The meteorological department has predicted rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Islamabad today.
There is a risk of flooding in Rawalpindi’s rainfed and local rivers as the weather has turned unusually cold after the recent rains.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather will be dry, cold and clear for the next 24 hours, the humidity in the air is 28%, and the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 24 to 26 degrees Celsius.
Winds are blowing in the city from northwest at a speed of 16 km per hour.
