Lahore, known as the garden city, is facing smog-related issues, making it the most polluted city on a daily basis. The caretaker Punjab government is taking necessary steps to address this situation.
Mall Road Closed Tomorrow for Traffic
To tackle the problem, Mall Road in Lahore will be closed to all types of traffic, allowing only cyclists and pedestrians to use it.
CTO Lahore, Mustanasir Feroze, advises citizens to avoid traveling on Mall Road to prevent difficulties. This decision is in response to the smog issue, made by the Punjab government.

A smart lockdown was enforced in 10 districts of Punjab because the air quality index was rising. Directives were issued to shut down schools, offices, and markets.
Markets were permitted to open at 3 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Additionally, all markets in Lahore will be closed tomorrow, Sunday.
