Major Drug Bust: 152 kg of Heroin
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) cracked down on drug trafficking and recovered 152 kg of drugs in 7 operations and arrested 3 suspects.
According to ANF, while conducting an operation near Motorway Toll Plaza Kala Shah Kaku, 21 kg 600 grams of opium was recovered from the hidden compartments of the vehicle and the accused resident of Mardan was arrested.
In another operation near Kala Shah Kaku, 10 kg of heroin was recovered from the vehicle, the recovered heroin was hidden in the tire (stepni) of the vehicle and 2 accused residents of Bannu were arrested on the spot.
According to the spokesman, heroin was recovered from the parcel at the courier office in Lahore, 500 grams of heroin was being smuggled to Bahrain by hiding it in a bed sheet.
Meanwhile, 100 kg hashish concealed for smuggling was recovered in 2 operations in Kech and Gwadar, while 20 kg 500 grams of hashish concealed during 2 operations near Bajaur and Khyber were recovered.

The ANF spokesperson says that further investigation has been started by registering cases against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
