In adherence to the Peshawar High Court’s (PHC) October 9 ruling, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa interim government on Saturday declared its intention to re-administer the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) on November 26.
This determination was reached in a gathering presided over by caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan.
KPK MDCAT Test 2023 Dates
The MDCAT that took place on September 10 was invalidated after numerous students were apprehended for misconduct and employing electronic devices during the examination at various test centers nationwide.
In the wake of allegations of improprieties and paper leaks, more than 80 candidates approached the high court seeking nullification of the examination.
Topics concerning preparations for conducting the MDCAT and other matters were addressed during the gathering. The assembly was informed that 46,220 enrolled examinees would take part in the examination.
To assist the students, testing venues will be established in Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Abbottabad, Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), Kohat, and Lower Dir. The assembly resolved to form a committee led by the additional chief secretary to carry out the plan.

The official mentioned that 219 candidates engaged in using dishonest methods during the prior examination have been barred.
Candidates who are already registered for MDCAT 2023 will not incur any charges for the retest.
