Karachi Unifies Madadgar 15 and Emergency 1122
Karachi Unifies Madadgar 15 and Emergency 1122-For greater policing efficiency, the Sindh police united their Madadgar-15 and Emergency 1122 helplines, as reported by The News on Friday.
DIG Maqsood Ahmed, Chief of Sindh Police’s Security Division, stated that Madadgar-15 would cooperate with Sindh Emergency Rescue Service (SERS) 1122 to amplify the security and well-being of Karachi’s residents.
He added: “This strategic partnership aims to bolster the city’s emergency response capabilities and provide timely aid to those in need.”
He elaborated that through this collaboration, Madadgar-15 and SERS 1122 would initially dispatch seven police mobiles and ambulances at assigned stations across Karachi’s seven districts. These mobile units would serve as rapid reaction teams to swiftly address emergencies and offer immediate help.
To further simplify and improve communication, both entities would establish dedicated assistance desks at each other’s call centers. These assistance desks would operate 24/7.
