Ahead of the T20 World Cup starting on June 1, West Indian cricketer Jason Holder has been ruled out of the event due to injury.

Jason Holder was injured in the County Championship, Obaid McCoy has been included in the West Indies squad in place of Jason Holder.
For the T20 World Cup, Cricket West Indies has also included 5 reserve players in the team. Hayden Walsh, Andre Fletcher, Fabian Allen, Matthew Ford, and Kyle Myers are among the reserve players.

On the other hand, the commentary panel of the T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced. Ex-captain and Sultan of Swing Wasim Akram, former captain Waqar Younis and former cricketer Rameez Raja have been included in the commentary panel of the ICCT Twenty World Cup..
Other commentators include India’s Ravi Shastri, England’s Nasir Hussain, South Africa’s Iain Smith, Australia’s Mel Jones, West Indies’ Iain Bishop and India’s Harsha Bhogle.

Apart from them, India’s Dinesh Karthik, West Indies’ Samuel Badree and Carlos Braithwaite, Australia’s Aaron Finch, Ricky Ponting, and Tom Moody have also been included in the commentary panel.
