Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has said that we do not intend to occupy Gaza and this is not our goal, while we had concrete evidence of hostages being held in al-Shifa hospital.
Israeli PM’s Assurance
In an interview given to the American Broadcasting Corporation, the Israeli Prime Minister said that we had concrete evidence that Hamas was holding hostages in Al-Shifa Hospital. Leader Al Shifa left the hospital.
During the interview, the Israeli Prime Minister claimed that his government had intelligence about the hostages, but he refused to give details.

On the question of the deal regarding the release of the hostages, Netanyahu said that we were close to the deal before starting the ground operation, but the ground operation of the Israeli army has put pressure on Hamas for a ceasefire.
