Following the events in Gaza, Israel persisted in its hostility towards Lebanon and targeted reporters in the midst of their live reporting.
As per reports from international media, amid the confrontation between Hezbollah and the Israeli military in Lebanon, the Israeli forces conducted an airborne assault on journalists providing live coverage.
Israel targets journalists in Lebanon
The footage capturing the Israeli assault on the journalists is circulating widely on social media and across global news outlets. In the video, journalists can be observed carrying out their journalistic responsibilities in press jackets, but simultaneously, a loud noise disrupts the scene, prompting the reporters to flee for safety.

Based on media accounts, reporters state that they opted to explore this region following coordination with the United Nations Peacekeeping in Lebanon and the Armed Forces of Lebanon.

Information suggests that numerous Palestinian reporters have lost their lives in Israeli offensives since October 7, whereas Israel has also urged global and domestic news agencies not to ensure the security of its journalists operating in Gaza.

Contrarily, the International Federation of Journalists, in disclosing the figures of journalists who lost their lives, stated that a minimum of 34 Palestinian journalists and media personnel have been killed as a result of Israeli attacks.
