According to the statement issued by Instagram, users can limit their posts to only close friends through Limit. After doing this they will only be able to see the comments, direct messages, tags, and mentions of people who are included in their close friends list.
Other followers will also be able to discuss these posts, but their comments and messages will not be visible to others. Such a feature was introduced for critters in 2021 but now it has been changed keeping the youngsters in mind.
Similarly, the Restrict feature has also been changed. Through this feature, users will be able to prevent different people from tagging or mentioning themselves.
