Indian Man Spends Over Rs 156 Million to Build Replica Taj Mahal to honor of his Mother
Standing tall on a 1.2-meter platform, the replica reaches a height of 12 meters, with four majestic minarets soaring to a remarkable 14 meters. Spanning approximately 33 meters in width, this exquisite mausoleum stands as a testament to the love and admiration Amrudeen Sheik Dawood held for his late mother, Jailani Bibi. Following her sudden passing in 2020 from a heart attack, Dawood made the heartfelt decision to honor her memory by constructing a memorial that would serve as a cherished resting place, deviating from the conventional practices of a traditional cemetery.

With the valuable assistance of skilled engineers and architects, Amrudeen Sheik Dawood carefully selected a design reminiscent of the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. This architectural marvel pays homage to the extraordinary life of Jailani Bibi, a remarkable woman who faced the challenges of widowhood at the tender age of 36. As a single mother, she wholeheartedly raised her six children, including Dawood, alongside her foster son Mohammed Abdul Khadar, while skillfully managing her late husband’s business. Jailani Bibi’s unwavering commitment to her family and her steadfast dedication to her responsibilities became an inspiration for her son’s magnificent endeavor to honor her legacy.
