PTI leader Imran Khan‘s poster disappeared from Lal Haveli due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s decision to field a candidate against Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed instead of giving him a party ticket.
Imran Khan’s posters ousted:
Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was not given a PTI ticket for the upcoming general elections on February 8, 2024. As a result, pictures of Imran Khan were taken down from Lal Haveli – Sheikh Rashid’s political base and residence.
In Rawalpindi constituencies, NA-56 and NA-57, PTI has fielded two candidates (one male and one female) against Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed. Sources have revealed that the PTI flag and Imran Khan’s pictures were removed from Lal Haveli after Tehreek-e-insaf’s announcement of contesting elections against Sheikh Rasheed.

Reports suggest that several photographs of Imran Khan alone and with Sheikh Rashid (earlier displayed outside Sheikh Rashid’s residence on the steps and in meeting rooms) were removed. The images, which were part of the Lal Haveli for eight years, were taken down following recent political developments.
