The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has demanded the government to increase the price of gas across the country, the government has requested not to increase the rate of tandoor.

According to the sources, the IMF started preparing for the increase in gas rates in August for domestic, fertilizer, CNG, and cement. It is proposed to increase the bill from Rs 100 to Rs 400 for protected and non-protected customers.
