Honor Magic V2: Honor recently introduced the Magic V2, their latest foldable mobile device, showcasing its remarkably sleek appearance. When in a folded state, it boasts a thickness of merely 9.9mm (and an astonishing 4.7mm when unfolded), while weighing an astonishingly light 231 grams.
For a better understanding, the previous record for the thinnest foldable smartphone was held by the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. It had a folded thickness of 11.2mm and weighed 262 grams.

Honor Magic V2 Design and Display Excellence
The Magic V2 boasts an impressive unibody hinge mechanism that seamlessly integrates into its design. This feature utilizes a cover made of a 3D-printed titanium alloy, and the folding mechanism incorporates unique short screws within the hinge element.
Although lacking explicit ingress protection, Honor has verified that the Magic V2 incorporates a P2i material coating on all internal components, ensuring resistance against splashes.
The upgraded version of Magic, known as Magic V2, showcases an expansive 7.92-inch LTPO OLED main screen, delivering a remarkable resolution of 2,156 x 2,344 pixels along with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
This display is also compatible with HDR 10+, allowing for vibrant and lifelike visuals.
Moreover, the screen can reach a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits in automatic mode, ensuring optimal visibility. To guarantee seamless and uninterrupted animations, Honor has integrated a high-frequency PWM dimming mechanism operating at 3,840Hz.

The Magic V2’s secondary screen is sized at 6.43 inches and features a remarkable 10-bit OLED panel, offering a resolution of 2,376 x 1,060px and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
This additional display employs the identical high-frequency PWM dimming technology found in the primary screen and is capable of reaching an impressive peak brightness of 2,500 nits when set to automatic mode.
Powerful Internals and Seamless Software
The upgraded Magic V2 showcases the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which includes a boosted Cortex-X3 prime core operating at an impressive speed of 3.36 GHz.
The base edition provides 12 GB of memory with choices between 256 GB or 512 GB for storage, while the Magic V2 Ultrame edition offers a generous 16 GB of RAM and an enormous capacity of 1 TB for storage.
The software experience you receive is Android 13-inspired, accompanied by MagicOS 7.2.
Camera Quality
Regarding the camera configuration, the Magic V2 showcases a rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main sensor (with an aperture of f/1.9 and Optical Image Stabilization). It is accompanied by a 50MP wide-angle lens (with an aperture of f/2.0).
Moreover, it incorporates a 20MP lens for telephoto shots, enabling a 2.5x optical zoom capability and Optical Image Stabilization. This guarantees excellent photo quality from different angles.
The primary display features a selfie camera with a resolution of 16MP, which is situated within a punch-hole cutout.
