The tragic derailment incident of the Hazara Express in Nawabshah has claimed the lives of 30 passengers, including women and children, as confirmed by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
During his visit to People’s Medical University (PMU) Hospital Nawabshah, he expressed his concerns for the injured passengers. The exact number of wounded individuals remains uncertain as the rescue operation continues.

Railways Minister about Hazara Express Accident
Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, in a press conference, reported that the accident occurred at 1:17 pm when approximately 1,000 passengers were on board the Hazara Express.
The rail track was in good condition at the site of the incident, and an investigation is underway to explore all possible angles. Rafique acknowledged that the potential of a ‘sabotage act’ cannot be ruled out.
Relief train
AEN Ali Magsi said that the first relief train has reached Sarhari from Kotri to facilitate the Hazara Express passengers and the second relief train reached Nawabshah from Rohri.
