Grand Ceremony at Mazar-e-Quaid
Pakistan Defense and Martyrs Day is being observed throughout the nation today with tremendous patriotic fervor. Consequently, a splendid event for the alteration of sentinels at Mazar-e-Quaid was conducted in Karachi.
Air Officer Commanding Air Marshal Ghazanfar Latif from PAF Asghar Khan Academy is the esteemed guest presiding over the guard-changing ceremony at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
A total of 57 trainees, among them 7 females, are actively participating in the guard-changing event. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Air Force cadets assumed the guard duties at Mazar-e-Quaid during the ceremony.
On the contrary, Pakistan’s President, Interim Prime Minister, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman, Chiefs of the Armed Services, and the Pakistani military honored the martyrs and their families on Defense Day.

In his message about the Day of Defense and Martyrs, President Arif Alvi stated, “We extend our respects to the heroes who gave up their lives in defense of our nation. The courageous patriots of our land fearlessly confronted the adversary and etched a luminous episode in history.”
