Islamabad: The caretaker government has announced the start policy of the stomach-based mobile phone scheme from January 15 next year. From this people will be able to buy smartphones in installments.

Telecommunication Dr. Umarsif Nenai unveiled the policy on Friday, where he said that the policy will be launched from next month by the Ministry of Telecom along with the stakeholders of the telecom companies, which was approved after full discussion.

“We aim to ensure that smartphone access continues to improve investors’ ability to block mobile phones to avoid default and potentially prevent identity cards of missing persons,” the minister said. We need a strong mechanism.”
Dr. Saif said that under this policy in Pakistan, telecom companies will have the opportunity to offer smartphones directly to consumers through installment plans, expanding the benefits of mobile broadband, especially among low-income groups.
To a question, he said that his Ministry of Information is introducing “standardized quality measurement tests” in universities across the country from January 7 to 10, 2024 to ensure job opportunities for fresh graduates.
He further said that the Ministry along with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Examination Testing Council, National Computing Accreditation Council, Pakistan Software Export Board, and Pakistan Superhouse Association took important decisions to improve information technology education in universities.
He added, “To prepare students for the current trends and requirements of the industry, we will allocate funds to support specialized industrial courses in the universities. We intend to increase our trained manpower in the industrial sector. “
He emphasized the need to emphasize the alignment of educational institutions that can cater to the needs of the industry and provide training to the industry-specific workforce.
He said that we have planned to develop rapidly in the IT sector because we must use information and communication technology to bring about a productive revolution in our economy. The information minister asked the universities to take swift action to launch new standardized courses on entrepreneurship and exports for students.
