Government Approves 3.28 Rs Increase in Electricity Tariffs
The Authority for Regulating National Electric Power (NEPRA) has released its verdict to hike the electricity rate following consent from the central government.
NEPRA sanctioned the increment in the electricity fee by Rs 3.28 paise per unit as a quarterly modification.
Presently, subsequent to the green light from the federal administration, NEPRA has issued a notice to escalate the electricity cost.

As per NEPRA’s announcement, consumers of electricity will be required to submit supplementary payments over a span of 6 months, remitting from October 2023 to March 2024.
The alert mentioned that the rise in the quarterly modification will be valid for the clients as well.
