Islamabad: The Senate passed the resolution to postpone the general elections to be held on February 8 in the country by majority vote.
General Elections Postponed
Senator Dilawar Khan presented the resolution to postpone the general elections, which has been said that it is very cold in most of the areas, due to which it is difficult for these areas to participate in the election process.
Dilawar Khan said that JUIF members and Mohsin Dawar were also attacked, security forces have been attacked in KP and Balochistan while Amil Wali is also concerned.
Senator Dilawar Khan said that there are threat alerts from intelligence agencies during the election rally. Yes, the Senate trusts the Election Commission.
Muslim League (N) Senator Afnanullah opposed the resolution and said that I want to correct the reasons of Senator Dilawar Khan. If they postpone the election, there will never be an election.

Later, the Senate unanimously approved the resolution presented by Senator Dilawar Khan.
