Flour Mills Announced a Reduction in the Price of a 20 kg bag:
During the meeting, representatives of flour mills announced a reduction of 80 rupees in the price of a 20 kg bag of flour.
On this occasion, Food Minister Bilal Yasin said that despite the additional stock of wheat, there is concern over the increase in flour prices. Public relief is the priority as directed by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Earlier, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz asked for the market price of flour, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her displeasure on the wrong data on flour price.

The Chief Minister of Punjab called for a report on the market price of flour daily, in the meeting it was decided to allow the transportation of flour with a permit.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz directed the restructuring of the food department, besides this, she also directed to set a digital monitoring system for the employees of the food department.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that she will not allow to increase in the prices of flour illegally, the mafias are doing their work and the departments are sleeping.
The farmer has sold the wheat, now the mafias will not let them exploit the people, it was briefed in the meeting that there are 2.2 million metric tons of government wheat reserves in Punjab.
Earlier, the news came out that the price of wheat had increased from five to eight hundred rupees per manna. Wheat, which reached 2700 rupees in the first week of June, exceeded 3500 rupees on June 30.

Before Eid-ul-Azha, wheat from South Punjab reached Rs 2700 per maund in Central Punjab, and North Punjab including Rawalpindi Islamabad reached Rs 2900 per 40 kg.
On June 30, wheat is not available at Rs.3400 per 40 kg with an increase of Rs.500 per 40 kg in Rawalpindi Islamabad market.
Similarly, in Gujarat Division, Gujranwala Division, and Lahore Division, wheat has increased by Rs 800 to Rs 3500.
