A fire broke out in the engine of Allama Iqbal Express in Rahim Yar Khan, due to which the movement of trains was suspended, there was no loss of life.
Fire on Allama Iqbal Express Halts Train in Rahim Yar Khan:
It has been found out by the railway authorities that the incident of fire in the engine of Allama Iqbal Express took place near Feroza due to which the movement of trains on the up track was suspended.
It has been learned from the authorities that the train was going from Karachi to Sialkot. Passenger trains were halted at various stations due to up-track blocking.

It should be noted that the Allama Iqbal Express traveling from Karachi to Sialkot narrowly escaped an accident a few days ago, while two coaches of a freight train derailed near Rahim Yar Khan two months ago. Which was suspended.
