The decision was endorsed by Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Provincial Minister for Transport and Information, during the Sindh Mass Transit Authority’s (SMTA) 10th board gathering on Wednesday.

Memon conveyed during the gathering that having female bus drivers would not just advance gender parity, but also enhance the feeling of safety and confidence for women travelers.
