The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is preparing to celebrate the longest holiday of the year, commencing on Tuesday, June 27th.
The holiday break coincides with Arafat Day, which holds great significance as the holiest day in Islam, as well as the joyous celebration of Eid Al-Adha. UAE residents are in for a treat with a six-day holiday, making the most of the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
Muslims throughout the UAE will gather for special Eid prayers on Wednesday, June 28th, to commemorate the beginning of Eid Al-Adha.
The prayers will be conducted in mosques and outdoor locations across the nation. Traditionally, they are held shortly after sunrise, with the prayer areas opening after the Fajr prayer.
Eid Al-Adha Prayer Timings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Here are the confirmed prayer timings for Dubai and Sharjah:

During the Eid prayer, Muslims come together in congregation and engage in a two-raka’ah prayer. Led by the Imam, worshippers recite multiple takbirs, followed by the recitation of Surah Fatiha and verses from the Holy Quran in the first raka’ah.
